C. S. Lewis and The Cronicles of Narnia

Right now I'm reading The Chronicles of Narnia. They are so amazing! The symbolism, his way of writing, the storyline are just beautiful. I have read the series before, but this time tops them all. I wonder how C. S. Lewis could look into his characters. I especially liked Edmond and Lucy. Lucy is faithful, believing, and brave. Edmond is repentant, courageous, and valiant. It extraordinary how they come back to their world with years of experience, but experience from another world. The Chronicles of Narnia are a masterpiece.

IT IS SNOWING!!!!

It Nov. 22, and it is snowing! Okay if you live in Utah you'll be thinking yay, what's so cool about that. But this is Washington and because we're next to the sea it doesn't snow hardly at all. The flakes are coming down so fast and it's beautiful! It's 34 degrees outside, the snow is perfect packing snow, and we're just waiting for more snow to come to have a snowball fight. I love it! It makes me want to sing and dance, except the fact that have to do dishes is stopping me. I love snow!!!!

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Today is my very happy birthday!

I just want to scream and yell and bounce off the walls I'm soo happy! First I got up and read a delightful e-mail from my sister, and ate some delicious pumpkin pancakes, made by Tessa, then I worked on my Shakespeare presentation, then my Mom and I went out to Vien Dong for lunch,( Soo delicious I loved it soo much. Scrumptious!) then we ran some errands, and bought me some new jeans, then at home I received a wonderful phone message from my dear friend, then I made German Chocolate Cake(Also scrumptious!) and I had started to make ravioli when the doorbell rang. The young women had come to kidnap me! HAHA They put toilet paper around my hands and put a blind fold on me and walked me to the car. I couldn't stop laughing! We arrived at the church and they all clapped and sang happy birthday to me. They had told me I couldn't come to mutual until I had a Sunday! I never thought that they were planning something! Not once! The beehives gave me a young women's theme book and pencils in a handy case.Soo thoughtful! And so I had my first night of mutual. When I arrived home we ate dinner of white bean soup and ravioli. Then dessert of that German Chocolate Cake. I blew out all the candles by the way! Then my Dad gave me a beautiful fountain pen and my Mom a gorgeous journal. So pretty! And there ends my splendid and spectacular birthday.

Happy

I am almost perfectly happy today! It's amazing to be almost  perfectly happy. It almost makes you even more happy knowing you are happy! I am satisfied with my week and I'm satisfied with my day so far. I feel content not to the point where I would jump up and down, but still happy. I feel cold to the tip of my fingers and toes, but still I don't feel a cold disposition. I still have a bit of a cold, but I don't have a headache or a sore throat. I woke up and did a bit of cleaning right away and some homework, but I am not dreading anything. I'm just happy!

Sick

I don't really feel good today.

Just the usual, stuffy nose, headache, and sore throat. The comfort is I'll never get this cold again. Well, it's kind of comforting. I hope it goes away soon. I don't have time to be sick.

Wow

Wow I haven't written in my blog for along time! I have been very busy. But for the sake of writing I'm writing this. It's soo weird that it's fall already! Whether that's bad or good. The End.
